These Terms & Conditions apply to all tours and events organised by Curatus Experiences Ltd (“the Company”). By making a booking, you agree to the following terms.
Definitions
"The Company" refers to Curatus Experiences Ltd.
“Event” or “Tour" refers exclusively to any experiences organised by Curatus Experiences Ltd.
"You" or "Participant" refers to the individual making a booking and/or attending the Event or Tour.
Booking & Registration
Full payment or a deposit (where applicable) is required to confirm your booking. Payment indicates full commitment to the Event or Tour. Cancellation terms apply as outlined in the relevant section below.
Where applicable, the remaining balance will be due approximately 12 weeks prior to the start date. Full payment is due no later than 8 weeks before the Event or Tour. Failure to pay may result in cancellation without refund.
Some Events and Tours require a minimum number of participants. If not met, all payments made will be refunded in full.
You are strongly advised not to book travel (e.g. flights, ferries) until the 12-week threshold, when confirmation is typically guaranteed.
Payment Methods
Payments may be made via credit/debit card or via direct bank transfer. You are responsible for any transaction or international transfer fees.
Cancellations by Participant
For a single day Event or Tour
All cancellations must be made in writing via email. No refunds are available.
For a multi-day Event or Tour
All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
More than 12 weeks before the Event or Tour:

Cancellations by Curatus Experiences Ltd
Force Majeure: If an Event or Tour is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, political unrest), no compensation is owed. Refunds may be issued at the Company’s discretion.
Company-Initiated Cancellation: If the Event or Tour is cancelled by The Company for any reason unrelated to force majeure:
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
The Company cannot accept liability or pay any compensation in the event of a Force Majeure Event. The Company shall be excused, discharged and released from performance to the extent such performance is so limited or prevented, without liability of any kind due to any unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, which means a situation beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. The Company assumes no liability for any loss, damage or entry of any nature in whole or in part resulting from an Act of God or any other condition outside The Company's control (Force Majeure Event) including without limitation; actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity and its consequences (including suspected terrorist activity and all action taken during any “terror alert”), industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics and pandemics (including restrictions imposed by local or national governments or authorities as a result of COVID and any other notifiable diseases), unavoidable technical problems with transport, fire and all similar events outside our control.
Waiting List
You may join a waiting list if the Event or Tour is fully booked. Being on the waiting list does not obligate you to attend. The admin fee is only charged when a deposit is paid to secure a place.
Changes & Amendments
The Company reserves the right to alter itineraries, accommodation, routes, or other Event or Tour components as needed. If changes occur, you will be notified and offered alternatives. Additional costs or partial refunds may apply.
Amendments to bookings (e.g. room types) can be made up to 60 days prior to the Event or Tour and may incur an admin fee.
Amendments within 60 days of the Event or Tour start date are at the Company’s discretion and are not guaranteed.
Required Documentation
You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid documentation for the duration of the Event or Tour:
Participant-Owned Vehicle
Participants must maintain valid and sufficient insurance coverage on their own vehicle, including: comprehensive coverage, collision coverage, liability insurance meeting all legal requirements of the region, any additional coverage required for driving or tour activities. Participants may be asked to provide proof of current insurance before the tour begins.
Participants must ensure their vehicle is in safe, roadworthy condition. The Company may deny participation if a vehicle is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the tour.
Participants are fully responsible for; any damage to their own vehicle, damage caused by their vehicle to other vehicles or property, any mechanical failure resulting from the tour, costs related to towing, recovery, or transportation of their vehicle.
The Company assumes no responsibility for damage, loss, or mechanical issues involving participant-owned vehicles, whether occurring; on the highway, on private routes, during event or tour related driving activities, in parking or display areas.

You must comply with local laws in all countries visited, including:
Failure to comply may result in removal from the Event or Tour without refund.
What’s Not Included in our Events and Tours
The following are not included in the Event or Tour price:
Liability & Delays
The Company is not responsible if you are denied entry to any country, city, or site. All costs related to denial of entry are your responsibility.
The Company is not liable for any travel delays. Additional costs from delays (e.g., hotel, meals, ferry changes) are at your own expense.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Company and its affiliates from any liability, loss, or expense resulting from your participation in the Event or Tour.
Code of Conduct
Participants must act responsibly at all times. The following behaviours will result in immediate removal without refund:
Personal Property
The Company is not responsible for; lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, items left in vehicles, damage to clothing or gear during the event or tour.
Image Rights
By attending, you consent to being filmed or photographed. Your likeness may be used in promotional materials without compensation.
If you do not wish to appear in the media material, you must notify The Company in writing before the Event or Tour.
Personal photography and filming are only permitted for non-commercial use.
Intellectual Property & Replication
You may not use, replicate, or fund any event, tour, or business venture that imitates or competes with the format, or content of the Event or Tour.
Transfers & Fees
Admin fees and deposits are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by The Company.
Disclaimer
Risk Acknowledgement: Driving a car involves involves inherent risks including road hazards, driving long distances, actions of other drivers, weather conditions, varying road conditions, travel to remote locations and mechanical failures.
Medical & Legal Eligibility: You confirm that you are medically fit and legally permitted to participate.
Participants are responsible for; your vehicle, your safety, the safety of anyone else in your vehicle, ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and insured.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree that The Company is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, damages or losses incurred. Participation is at your own risk.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
Privacy
Participant data will be handled in accordance with the Curatus Experiences Ltd Privacy Policy, available upon request.
