Curatus Experiences

We have combined our favourite driving regions into one, escorted driving tour covering 700 miles through the Lake District, North Pennines and Scottish Borders. Having spent countless miles exploring the North it quickly became our favourite place to drive within the UK and we want to share it with you!

From Monday 26th to Thursday 29th April 2027, our Lakes, Pennines and Borders tour combines three luxurious 5 star hotels, historic lunch stops and epic driving roads into one seamless package. Designed, hosted and escorted by Jake and James, this tour allows you to enjoy your car as the manufacturer intended. We have limited this tour to 18 places with two lead cars to ensure a fantastic experience for all.

Pre-Tour Night | Sunday 25th April

Optional stay (recommended)

Utilise the weekend to travel to the Lake District, our starting place for this tour. We highly recommend adding the pre-tour night so you can start fresh for the first day on the road departing at 9am the following morning. It also provides a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow tour goers over dinner the night before.

Day One | Monday 26th April

Driving Summary: 5 hours 15 mins / 170 miles

The tour kicks off from the pre-tour hotel nice and early in two convoys behind your dedicated lead driver and equipped with your handheld radio. The adventure starts by exploring the dramatic peaks of the Lake District whilst heading North naturally leading us into the Pennines. Here we will spend the rest of the day driving over the moorlands broken up with regular stops, and lunch beside one of the most impressive waterfalls in England. The day concludes at our first 5 star hotel where you will check in and have some downtime to relax and utilise the spa facilities before our group dinner in the evening.

Day Two | Tuesday 27th April

Driving Summary: 6 hours 45 mins / 260 miles

Start the day with a hearty breakfast at your leisure before checking out and getting on the road once again at 9am. The day starts by crossing over into the Scottish Borders, the area we explore for the next two days. We have a fantastic route that flows West via various passes and leads us to Galloway Forests where we stop for lunch before continuing our journey towards the outskirts of Glasgow - the location of our next 5-star overnight stay. After parking the cars up outside the castle and checking in, you once again have a moment to yourself before the group comes together again for dinner.

Day Three | Wednesday 28th April

Driving Summary: 7 hours / 260 miles

The final day on the road see us twist and turn our way East on more epic roads within the Scottish Borders. We have saved the best till last, Jake describes this day as ‘the best day driving within the UK’. It combines 8 standout roads, all offering different challenges for the car and driver. The day is broken up with 3 unique stops offering fantastic scenery and hospitality before we conclude at our final 5-star spa hotel of the tour. We will once again come together and share a toast during the final meal.

Day Four | Thursday 29th April

Departures

There is no scheduled driving for today allowing you to make the most of the hotel spa facilities and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before last check out at 11am. After saying our goodbyes make use of the day to travel home with lifelong memories from a fantastic few of days.

£2,450 per car, sole occupancy

+£300 for double or twin occupancy sharing the same room

£500 deposit per car is required when booking to secure your space. The remaining final balance plus any extras is due 12 weeks before the start of the tour.

Cars

The tour is limited to supercars and has been specially designed with these in mind. There is no strict qualifying cars list, we welcome supercars from all eras!

Hotels

All of the hotels included in the package have all been carefully selected based on multiple factors we deem important to ensure a comfortable stay for the entire group. We work closely with all venues to create a seamless experience that goes above and beyond expectations.

For this tour the pre-tour night is a boutique 4 star spa hotel, the following three nights are at 5-star hotels with fantastic spas on days one and three.

Itinerary & Routes

The itinerary has been designed and tested by the Curatus team and includes all aspects of the tour meaning all guests can simply enjoying the experience and ‘just add fuel’.

We carefully design the itinerary to ensure we are never driving for extended periods at once and ensure plenty of enjoyable stops along the route to socialise with fellow guests.

At the heart of our itineraries are the routes. When creating a route our priority is ensuing the day flows naturally whilst incorporating the best roads in the area. We pride ourselves on finding the best supercar friendly roads that are lesser known and avoid highly congested areas such as cities and motorways. At our core we are drivers and this is reflected in our tours.

On the Road with CURATUS

All of ours tours are escorted by experienced lead drivers, who will guide the way with the group following in convoy. Each car will be provided with a handheld radio so they can receive communication on the upcoming road conditions from the lead car. The group can also communicate with one another, creating a real sense of camaraderie.

Spirit of the Tour

Our tours are fun driving holidays with no competitive elements. They are social experiences where we bring together like-minded owners who love to drive and use their cars as intended. No egos, just good times!

The media team will work seamlessly around the group capturing the special moments. The priority for the tour remains around the overall enjoyment of the experience and driving, not just gathering content.
